Stair carpet

    Hi, I'm after some advice on stair/landing carpet. I want something that will last so was looking at wool mix. Also want something in plain grey. I was thinking about cormar home counties 50oz. Anything better than that at similar price point?

    Whats the best underlay to use? I've got tredaire dreamwalk in rest of house and was looking at 9mm equivalents.

    Victoria, Brockway, penthouse, Westex, brintons. All have very good backings...unlike cormar

    Just fitted a tomkinson twist luxury (think its near 70oz) in colour tungsten which is nice.
    Used cloud 9 connoisseur 10mm
