So want to find the best for LVT with the strongest lasting tips. just bought a few different ones for me and Matt from signature flooring Can you post up what you think of the ones you use. For me so far - sweeney Todd - break easy and don’t last floor fit - better but blunt quickly Janser Green box - best so far Mozart - not tried yet but have a box
Janser Green the best for lvt Mozart are flimsy and weak tip Sweeney todd are a good all rounder especially with the price difference.
Mainly sweeneys for me, I find it's luck of the draw with them, you get a pack that are just crap then another box they'll be great. Did try some others couple yrs back, think they were XL or something but felt really thin and flimsy
I’ve only ever used Sweeny and floorfit. Both are crap for lvt lol. Might have to try janser green box as the hooks are brilliant. I normally use concaves for lvt
I’ve always used concave for LVT. My suppliers make their own blades (or probably rebrand them more likely) that seem decent enough.
I've noticed that too, especially when cutting underlay, i end up checking if I've just put a used blade in
Might give janser a go,have been using concave for most cuts and straight for miters, mainly because the straights blunt quickly and having already having a bit of an accident with a straight blade slipping on a straight edge, I'm a bit over cautious
