That sounds great. To be honest i'd just love to have the general knowledge of flooring as an overall skill instead of being good at one and useless at the other. I think it's all about having a balanced skill and understanding across all flooring aspects. Matt, how would my time at the college work? Would it be in weekly periods and if so is it every few months or something? Thanks
Hi Matt. Is a QCF Level 2 in Floorcovering the same as the NVQ as I heard the NVQ has had a change and is now classed as a QCF? Just though i'd check with you as you are part of a training centre. http://www.edexcel.com/Policies/QCF/Pages/happening-NVQs.aspx
Just been reading through your thread. Any joy yet mate ? If you lived near me I'd take you on in a flash even though I don't need anyone. I admire your determination, you'll go far with that attitude !
Thanks. Fancy moving to Bristol? Ha. Still no luck, my worry is now I am getting too old as I'm 20 in 4 weeks and a 20 year old will struggle to live off apprentice rate. I'm still looking though dont worry.
Yes, a QCF is the same as a NVQ . In simple terms a NVQ was renamed to QCF. They changed it a couple of years ago and its now scored on credits. You need so many credits to pass a QCF. Not that you need to worry about that, the assessor worries about your credits. So officially its a QCF, everyone still calls it a NVQ tho.
