Morning boys I’m just pricing a job for a 60sqm lounge which has a sand/cement screed down. The floor is 26mm lower than the rest of the house. The customer wants to bring the floor up level and run the flooring through. What’s the best and most cost effective rive to get the levels up. I’ve got lvt going on top.
Most cost effective for me was Instarmac Base with granite chips up to 20mm ish Then a top coat of 5-6mm I have no problem with mixing up brands, so would just use what ever I fancied over the top.
Like neil says, couple itool mixers or similar, use the cheaper brand with bulk to build up then finish it off with a nice top coat.
Thanks for the replies guys, much appreciated! I was thinking along those lines but for it to be confirmed is a great help.
