Hello Forum Members, I am seeking your suggestions and advice on repurposing film-faced heavy-duty densified plywood used for formwork /shuttering in construction. While this plywood is typically reusable for 10–15 cycles, I plan to use it only 3 times for shuttering purposes. After its initial use, I intend to repurpose the plywood for interior partition applications, such as cabinets, partitions, shelves, and cupboards. I would appreciate expert opinions on the following: - Can the film-faced layer be effectively removed to prepare the surface for reuse in interior woodwork? - Is any special surface preparation required for repurposing? - Is it feasible to apply laminate, veneer, or PU paint on the plywood after removing the film? Your insights and suggestions will be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance. Best regards, Krishnan P S India
