Suggetions for a problem where Schluter-U primer was laid for a situation it's not designed for

Hi there, we are doing a renovation that involves a main floor and 2nd floor both with hydronic flooring covered in gypcrete.

The main floor is tile, and below the tile and the mortar we correctly used Primer-U to prime the gypcrete.

The problem we are asking help for is that we also used Primer-U on our 2nd floor, where we intend to install engineered hardwood floors - which require adhesive and we noticed that Primer-U is not normally installed in these circumstances. The hardwood floors require using a moisture-cured polymer adhesive, or a urethane based adhesive. Is there any chance we can install one of these adhesives on the primer-U ?

We are considering this Polymer based adhesive SMP-960 One-Step.

It recommends an acrylic primer, which Primer U is.

If you dont recommend we go forward this way, we need to remove the primer u (recommendations how?) or install another primer on top of it (if that is recommended?).

Canada... Not sure why that matters though

 

Well we don’t use any of those products your talking about

 

Because this is a uk forum we use different primers etc.
