Is the program being developed any more, or as it was ? I,m using it but wanted to link information to an invoice with out having to retype the lot.
dont know. I will find out. It does costing so it might do. I will play later. However i dont think its compatible with other software. They have kept the software simple unlike other with loads of options that most dont like.
Hi, yes they are doing a mac version to include iphone and ipad. It is maybe 12 months off tho. If you purchase the windows version (that works on all windows now) you can get a free upgrade for a Mac when its available.

That's a very good price , I paid 400 plus vat I think , Keep us updated on any info , I'm trialling the laser measure software (floor covering soft ) at the mo .........but the carpet estimator is more straight forward
Hi there, Got it working, re-installed it for the 2nd time... BUT it ended up reverting back to version 3! Is there anyway at all I can get it updated back to version 4, which is much better? Thanks

I was looking at another program , but am sticking with the carpet est , I have found a way to produce an invoice by converting the estimate to word then editing it , which is what I was after . I just can't get used to looking at a plan sideways rather than the traditional up and down , which is the way the Americans seem to do it .
Convert carpet estimator to PDF then convert that to word , all program available on free ware sites . Only thing I found is if you want to email the finished article with your headed paper etc you need to convert the word back to PDF otherwise it comes out the other end all weird.
Hi Where can we see the version working, is their a Youtube video, is it Networkable ? as my version is a network version bought in 2000 Also do you have to buy a separate licence if you take it out on a laptop and who do i ring to buy it? Cheers Andrew
