Hmmm... I'm starting a big job in signature next week and the company supplying the materials is telling me it's ke66 but it's rebranded as tlc. Guess I need to do some digging tomorrow. Still got half a tub of ke66 so goimg to do some self sampling lol
Probably because LVT expands and contracts with temperature change Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Been using the new formula in the Uzin bucket lately and I think I much prefer the original that’s still in the Karndean bucket. Fibres are bigger and it’s thicker but it grabs much quick which it’s ideal for dry fitting and bad site condition when it hard to maintain a temperature
Just compared the ke66 with the tlc tubs I've got and it's identical. Got 13 small tubs and 1 big tub so will easily cover the 125m2. I'll also be trying spacey's method of full dry fit first next week, see what all the hype is! I got no skirts, no architraves in these new builds which is an added bonus.
I like the skirts on It helps lock everything in and you don’t get the bits of rubble and plaster falling off the walls every time you touch them
Tlc do two adhesives one is ke66 the other is 2000 s branded as ht and pressure sensitive Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Cheers. That's the main thing I wanted to be sure of before I picked it up off them that it said ht on the tub.
I've never known anyone to dry fit everything....may give it a go Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
Go for it mate Tip: Fit width ways not length ways keeping to your centre line so as you do your wall cuts it locks everything into position Dry fitting is easier quicker cleaner and means you lay in wet adhesive to give the best possible transfer of adhesive so the best possible bond
