I have been asked to install Amtico Spacia into a kitchen/diner for a customer. The customer asks about guaranteeing work so that covering problems that could happen in the future.I havent been on the Amtico course so should i still do the job or tell the customer to get an Amtico approved fitter?.

the rules are that you should be approved installer. But if you install to there instructions and use there products you should not have a problem.

However be warned. I myself have had a couple of problems with the wear layer on the spacia range. Amtico has refunded the costs tho for the floorings and the customers have moved onto karndean.

I would steer clear of spacia (its not amtico or made by amtico) and push a karndean product onto the customer.

We fit amtico and karndean but not the spacia range anymore. Its the only LVT product we have had a problem with.
