Well i keep talking about doing this so figured we should set some dates. I will be opening the doors of the new Training center for all forum members to attend a day 'messing' around between us all. I will be demonstrating bending LVT boarders as this seems to be something i get asked a lot about, I will also have a load of Mapei Compounds, primers, adhesives and DPM's there for you all to try out. As this is a open day and not a dedictated training course you lot will also be able to try some stuff of your own and maybe swap some ideas between us. Treat it as a day for us all to get to meet each other and show off some of your signature skills. There is NO cost to attend this day, instead i ask that all that come along donate to the Training center stuff like spare/leftover Carpet, LVT, Vinyl, Gripper, Tools you don't use, them crap blades you wont ever use......... Basically anything that can benefit the training center that we can use up on future courses. End of the day the training center has to buy these products, if we can get some stock we can reduce the price of future courses that will benefit us all in the long run. We are not asking you to bring large cuts of carpets or 4 boxes of lvt in the same colour! Odd boxes of LVT and even half boxes will be fine and even small cuts of carpets will be great. Anyway, can you vote for what day suits you best please and add your name to the list if you want to attend. The training center is based in BIRMINGHAM. O and this will be a 1 day event.

You would do better stopping over near where i live. Its about 15 minutes drive from the training center but 2 mins away from motorway so better for getting back home. Also you can stop in the travel lodge which is joined to the pub or you can stay in a B&B opposite my house. Its around a 2 minute walk to the pub. Daniel on here stops in the B&B opposite mine often, he says the breakfast is the best fry up he has had! O and i think its only £30-40 a night? Let me know if you want details.
Also do we have any special requests of what you would like to see? 1- bending boarders Is there anything else maybe? cold welding , inviseamer, airsled/lifter etc????

Where you got to travel back to Sandy? I will be showing you all away back to the M5 motorway down country lanes etc (minimum traffic) . We are in Birmingham but not near the town center :thumbs
Think Daniel will be staying there. Thats where he normally stays but he may drive home because he is a tight bastard ! Take note that the B&B only has 3 rooms i think and its a shared bathroom.
Thats some drive. I have just goggled your listed address and im afraid its more like 5+ hours drive mate. out of interest, do you have a near by airport that fly's to birmingham airport? I could pick you up from airport? Might be cheaper compared to the fuel you will use
