ha, I still like Instarmac. Just used 200 bags of there deep fill, and got 70 Renovation coming for next week.
Had a few deep fill areas, and some were really deep
Ive never got on with Tremco either, so maybe I won`t bother.

Maybe it’s designed to work on building sites lol. Every time I use it I have problems with it setting too fast. Sloppy

I would agree its not the best out there, thats for sure. But, as you say, when were on site, rather than in someones house, budget is a major factor.
A couple of quid a bag, if your sending pallet after pallet to site, could be the difference between winning the job.
For the most part I really do find it ok, although I had a pallet of CL the other day and that went down very nicely.
Laid 20 units of Green Bag last week, and to be fair that also went down lovely.
Would probably look really good if I could use one of those stand up trowels :(

Used to rate that level it 2 and Bond it when it first came on the scene, it was my 'go to' screed for the first few months then switched to CL which I rate one of the best flows out there. I still use instarmacs 'super 30' though.

Used a dozen bags of 1200 couple weeks ago and I dont know why but just can't get on with the stuff, maybe I'm unlucky with batches but just dont get on with it.

Can’t see any other bag and bottle being as good as CL. It’s cheap and flows like a water mix

    I bought a pallet.
Flows like water, but dries very weirdly.
Like a film of water forms on the top, very strange.

    Anyone using gypsum screeds?
Amazing flow, doesn't leave any trowel marks. Not even sure it's worth spike roller on it.

Thats what I found with it, seem too light to push and loose.

    Yep, weird.
Its only for en-suites, so can almost pour it in and walk away.
I can leave it a few days before fitting on it, so will post again once its properly dry.
