    Hi All

A little skirting dilemma for you as per the pic...

I'm using the 4 inch pencil round skirting shown and feel it should continue up to the door. Obviously I could use the same quarter bead I'll use beneath the door, but there will be skirting on the left side and I've stepped up at right angles elsewhere in the room on to different levels.

It seems a little steep for straight diagonal line but it's blowing my mind how else I would do it. Any tips?

    Many thanks
    Ian

Hi , I think I would go around the corner 10mm then cut a mitre to go up the riser , probably have to rip it down .

    Thanks

Thanks Alban I think you're right - I was thinking the full reveal has to be covered but your method is the only way to preserve the rounded top all the way up - hopefully it won't look to weird. I'll post a pic after I've done it :)

Just an update - if this is what you mean Alban I think you were right thanks.

Here's a pic of the result anyway... (pre pinned & caulked)

would it work having the mitre coming from the bottom corner making the upright piece wider slightly rather than half way ?
