I have done quite a few jobs over the last couple of years with this and I think it's great. I would compare it to Karndean's knight tile. It's great to work with and always looks well, everyone has been and still is delighted with it. For the money it's fantastic, I always use the feature strip with it which is about £*** for 50m. A very good alternative to the other, much more expensive brands. Edited by ADMIN, please dont post price's on the forum unless in the trade members section :thumbs
Yes it does look impressive and as we will welcome them there are more colours to add to the collection as we speak.
I don't suppose anyone knows where I could get samples of this do they? I buy it from Mercado but they don't seem to be able to get me a sample card, I have tiles left over in all the original colours but can't find out about the new ones.
The True Forest/Minerals seems to be the best seller in our shop. We use strips from the Karndean Knight-Tile range to give the customer several options. Although the wood plank is a rustic optic, we have added metallic strips (shipdeck) to give it a more contemporary look. We had one customer come to the shop after fitting in tears. I was cringing when she came in anticipating something had gone wrong, but it turned out she was so impressed it brought her to tears (Phew!!). Our fitters are also impressed. They have advised that its a brilliant product to work with. I've contacted our Rep for Mercados and he is bringing me some samples of the eagerly anticipated new colours launched earlier this month.
I am now in possesion of the new colours of the True forest/Minerals and they do not disappoint. 8 new wood colours and 3 new tiles. The new tiles are 18" x 18" which I think I may struggle selling. Most people tend to want 12" x 12" but a good fitter will be able to cut these down to size, but this may put the customer off as they are buying alot of waste and would be just as well choosing another product in the size req'd. Mercado now have all the colours in stock so everybody should be able to see them now. Hope everybody likes them as much as me.
Can't wait to see these, been promised since beginning of June. I'm surprised about the 18" tiles though as you wouldn't want them in the average bathroom or a kitchen that's less than about 12m2 and I've found that a lot of the jobs I've done with these have been in small houses ( budget price etc). Still looking forward to seeing them and sure I'm going to be fitting loads more of this.
