Hi guys client has changed his ufh spec and is getting warm up dcm-pro installed , it's going on top of 6mm ply , the original spec was just the cables on the ply .
I have already bought 20 bags of mapei renovation
Will I need to prime this ?
Answer from warm up was no .
Answer from mapei on the phone was yes
Answer from mapei by email/message was no
Has anyone done prep over the dcm pro?
The videos certainly show a self levelling compound going down without primer although iv no idea what brand

Any help or advice much appreciated , prep is due to start this weekend with lvt going down a week later

Can't see it binding very well without a primer. What's their reason for not using a primer

Lol, I would go back and ask them why can't you use a primer. I would back level it flex without a primer. That stuff is impossible to scrape off the floor. Not sure about renovation tho

is a decoup membrane going down? Sorry assuming tiles.

I also thought cable direct onto Ply was a no no, I would always put a min of 4mm or 6mm Wedi board down.
