Does anyone know what lvt manufacturers have uv protection built in? Anyone overcoating with a finish to help protect against it? Looking at a lot of south facing extensions and they all want LVT. I’m not sure how well a lot of them will stand up to the exposure of that much sunlight. I’ve seen a few turn green over the years!

Better off getting them to put UV protection on the windows.

Yeah but what about when the doors are open all day in the summer?

I think the only floor that wouldn’t be affected by uv is ceramic/porcelain. I’ve seen many LVT/laminates discolour in conservatory’s etc. I think more technology needs to go into this side of lvts tbh. I will usually will discourage customer’s from having it in high uv areas just because of this.
