I've got 57 plate transit lwb 140 remapped, I can get mid 40mpg if steady, normal driving 38 mpg that's loaded with rollers buffer, materials, all the new vans have little engines pulling a big motor no wonder they are shite on fuel.

Nice one I’ll take a look there. Might give Kie my custom yet and get a new van for myself.
Will see how it pans out.
It will be his 1st van so don’t want anything to good as he will have the odd bump I’d guess

I wouldnt be able to get away wih them at an angle, carry to much machinery and remember when I had this issue in my old ren trafic. Was gutted I had to sell it. Neighbour has a new shape trafic swb looks nice but may aswell keep my custom.

Can carry up to 30+ sheets sometimes so on angle would be a ball ache. Gutted really as id love to get away with any swb

Anyone tried one of the new dispatch/experts? I saw specs saying you could get an xl capable of carring a 4m length through the flap under passenger seat

You beat me to it, was literally looking at the dispatch earlier on the net and seen they have a moduwork version.

Does look quite handy but would be nice to know/see the actual size of the hatch. Used to have a Berlingo and the mpg was amazing.

According to spec the xl can carry a heavier payload than the custom. Look like a hearse though.

Yeah got the new expert and love it. Wasn’t cheap as newest small van out but does everything I need. Smaller job and get ply etc in the back.

Mainly used if I’m working away as I can park it in secure parking without the worry of it being done over

Plus goes into drive through for my coffee fix

Do you or have you loaded a roll of carpet through the hatch?
    Fit with ease?

    What's the mpg like?

I’d still get a roof rack for one, but it would just be nice to slide a cut in even if It was just 4x4 for one of those days it’s raining and you just can’t be arsed

I’m still happy with my custom. Never had a pic of bother with it and perfect for what I do.
    Shifts aswell
