Customs are just a bit too high on the roof rack for my short arse, otherwise I’d have one, just trying to find alternatives to getting a lwb crafter/sprinter.
Que my old man saying “ I used to have a Mazda seats folded down was brilliant no problem”

Haha I helped a builder put a rem he’d bought on his roof, wasn’t far off jumping to put buggar on.
Yeah I asked my old man again, that was the one, he had a few and a Nissan version.

No one can afford/wants lvt in my little backwater Spacey, so it’s sheet vinyl or carpet

Also thinking about a new van. Lime the custom shape but keep hearing so many stories about them!! Transporter seems bulletproof but comes with a high price tag, or vitos that just seem to rust!!

I use to love my Mazda e220. Apart from being a bit of dangerous van it was great to drive. Use to stack it to the roof with carpets lol

Think ive been lucky with my custom, its been such a good van and will be a shame to get rid. I drove a brand new one before xmas but a swb (mine is a Lwb) and it just didnt feel right, chassis felt like it wanted to go where it wanted on its own, it had about 400kg in the back but just didnt feel to good. It was one of them colour editions with some extra bits of kit

Used to have lwb Toyota hiace ( similar to Mazda ) then went onto lwb transporter but got fed up with carpet on dash and poor visibility . Now using MWB sprinter low roof with twin passenger seat replaced with a single and bottom part of bulkhead removed in between . Superb for carpets vinyl ply etc and all the tools .

What van should I get Kieran? A small one like a connect or something bigger ? This will be his 1st van so don’t want to go to big.

I got my boys Caddy Maxis. Can get 2m in the back, and good with weight. Last one I bought was ex BG, and was a bargin. They drive the same as a Golf, so not too much different to a car. Both were driving Corsas before

Around 25-29 mph I reckon that'll be given it's a Tractor engine and average fuel prices.
