The dude's american . Thats jsut plain wrong for a start.. Safer to not use underlay , than use an american laminate flooring fitter. But thats a hell of list of stuff needed. Most can get away with a saw and bench (just about).. That chaps used 1/2 of a DIY store.. I guess thats the point though. It could be worse though... You could use an irish fitter..
Not hard if you've got the right tools and training, plus it's better money than carpet and vinyl if you're quick enough
Have all the tools ( bit of a tool junkie). Have seen them done and have done a fee for family for free but this is a nice 6x5m room supply and fit on a rental. The girl who rents it spray painted costumes on the existing carpet.
We have a range of YouTube films about engineered andsolid oak flooring - can I post a link to them - or is that not allowed? Here's the link if it's OK to post? http://www.youtube.com/user/Chaunceysfl ... ature=mhum thanks
I believe that when it comes to laying floors, it is always necessary to trust professionals instead of simply DIY it yourself...The laminate as any other type of flooring has its requirements in terms of sub-floor and surrounding interior elements, such as skirting boards, doors and door frames, etc. The professional floor fitter will come prepared for all these and in many cases the finishing or the overall results will be more efficient. That's why it is better to have professionals around you, if you try DIY it yourself, you may end up giving more money instead.
