Has anyone had loose lay vinyl bubble up on them lately? Not a minor bubble from being cut in too tight, Im talking massive bubbles 4" high and loads of them in the centre while the outsides of the vinyl stay lying flat!
Yes i had a kitchen/ conservatory vinyl, it wasn,t hot when laid, the cutomer bought it from a shop and they delivered it 3 days before we fitted it. The pole was brokenWe fitted it, next day she rang up and said could we look at it, and it had shrunk abot 1/2 inch and there were 2 v shaped puckers in it. She rang the shop they didn.t come to see it ,but said on the phone it was a fitting fault. This has gone on now for about 5 months, eventually their fitter came to see it and said it was a fitting fault and we should be able to stick it down LOL.The customer then email the manufacturer and the rep called and said ,although he would have stuck it in the first place, he hasn,t seen anything like it and agreed to replace it .The original suppliers will not take delivery from the manufacturers though, so the shop i sub contract to will, and we should hopefully fit it in time for Christmas .Sorry to go on about this but this shop should be named and shamed for their arrogence, and if you want me to i will
i dont think we should name and shame on here without proof. The reason being is that if you/me/who ever name and shame it will only be fair for others to name and shame also. The problem would be that if we dont know the user posting, they could post up aload of crap about a firm that may not of done anything wrong.
