    Hello,

We've just had Vivendi Vibes stress free carpet laid in 2 bedrooms and we've but a hold on the other 2. It had plywood laid and then quality new underlay. Then the carpet and the photos show that it is immediately showing every indent, from marks from the vacuum cleaner to shoe marks from the carpet layer and even my wife's bare foot marks (she weighs less than 130 lbs). The shop owner suggests that this is normal, but we'd appreciate the view of the community before we commit to letting them continue with the remaining rooms.

Note: can't upload a picture so hoping the description above gives you an idea

Thanks, in advance, for your informed comment.

Looks like a velvet nylon to me. It would be expected to show crush marks/vacuuming. Its a soft cloth on the floor. It doesn't affect the wear or resilience of the carpet, it's part of the aesthetic of that particular range and would have been obvious from any sampling you saw. All of the marks you are talking about will brush out if you require them gone, it is not a fault with the carpet.
