After cutting 20 sheets of SP101 5.5mm ply with a Stanley knife the other day., my forearms are like Popeyes...
I do have cordless circular saws and jigsaws., but they're a bit much for thin ply...
Has anyone used a mini circular saw., similar to the VonHaus one

It looks to be a nice tidy little saw..., so may get one??? Think they're around the £75 mark, so fairly cheap..

Bosch do one and also worx make one with a laser guide. Never used one on ply tho but surely better than cutting with a knife

I use an 18v Makita circular saw. Already got loads of other Makita stuff, so easy for batteries.
    Works a treat

Got the blue Bosch mini 14.4v circular saw which works well if I'm doing anything over a few sheets, otherwise I'm quite quick with a concave on 6mm

I used to have 240v Worx mini saw. It was ace, great for ply and cutting back existing wood / laminate back in doorways etc.

I use a worx mini circular great for 5.5 mm ply the blades last ages and can get them cheap on eBay, works out far cheaper than using stanley blades, you can set the depth of cut so just use a batten to keep it off the floor so no chance of damaging anything, it don't take long to get used to it.

Depends on the ply really, some cut easier than others so use concave on softer ply and jigsaw on harder stuff, a jigsaw blade last a lot longer than stanley blades,

Tbf if your using FG1 6mm ply it's quicker and easier with a concave. Cuts like butter that stuff.
