can i use a standard concrete block below the dpc? I know that bricks differ but are concrete blocks o.k? can i come off the footings with a concrete block and then install my DPC at the selected/correct hight? or do i need to start the build with the correct brick?
My father in law was a brickie before he retired, maybe he could give you a few POINTERS ! He's a sound bloke, definitly on the LEVEL Drop him a LINE and he may be able to BUILD your knowledge of the job. You guys got me started now - this is just a one off !
