Whats involved with preparing my concrete floor?

    New concrete subfloors need a long time to dry out before a Floorcovering can be installed. To fast track the install of your floorcovering your installer can apply a surface DPM.

    Also it should be noted that no matter how long a concrete subfloor is left to dry, if installing real wood flooring a surface DPM should always be applied.

    Here is a picture showing the stages of preparing a subfloor correctly for a solid wood floorcovering or ANY subfloor with a moister content above 75%RH.

    Different DPM systems may be applied in different orders to shown below.
