Wrist operation

    anyone on here or know of anyone who has needed a wrist fusion and carried on floorlaying after having it done? Thanks

    I need one really but never got it. Have to use a fist on the left hand instead of my palm

    Yeah im the same but putting the fusion off for as long as possible. Just didnt know if anyone on here has had it done, what its like to cut in and hold a trowl etc with a fused wrist

    I thought I was the only one...... I have keinbocks disease in left wrist ( dead lunate bone)
    Told fusion only option now so carry on working in pain........
    Suppose the best way to see is to buy a brace that doesn’t allow movement bending the wrist and see how you get on

    Finally i have found someone else same issue as me. I have kienbock disease in my right hand and been told to change my career or just work in pain like yourself. All i have been offered is a wrist fusion which i wouldnt mind having as it will stop the pain but just worrying about if i will be able to do my job without bending my wrist lol
