    Is the heating on ?
If not, better order another coil of weld for all the splits

Why not give Rewmar Cap&Cove adhesive a try. It's an MS Polymer adhesive that's fast, clean, safe and really cost effective (40 linea metres of 3mm bead from a single tube). You only apply a single 3mm bead of adhesive on the capping strip and the same on the cove former where it sticks to the wall, then slide it up into place on the placement line. It's adjustable when putting in place, provides an antifungal water proof bond, and there are no solvents or water in it. Probably most important, there's no plasticiser issues. Once it's in place it's ready to tuck the vinyl in place in approx. 15 minutes. There's no wait time for solvents to flash off and you only apply a small amount of adhesive to a single surface.

See video at the link below.

Some of you may recognise the place where this video was made. It's the Floor Skills Training Centre and the star is Dan Jones. Great job Dan.

It's still around and being used, mainly older contractors who still use it as their "go to" product.

    Have you used it ?
How about bending capping round an external ?

Self levelling compounds....just mix, pour onto floor and walk away. The bag does everything for you

We get asked to use this type of product in school corridors and school science rooms. I normally supply 2000 PUR. Our floorlayers insist that the building is very warm; and with long lengths, usually lie it out and allow it to soften, acclimatise and settle for a day or two before final trimming and adhesion as it often won't initially lie down completely flat.

Fitted 4 rolls of it this week, first roll we did there was no heating on the site and was a bit of a nightmare. Once the heating was turned on it's not that bad, you just need to heat it up with the heat gun to do the internal corners. Not bad to weld either

It's best to mitre the external, but it can be wrapped around.

Its part of our spec, that externals are wrapped, not mitred. Mitres always seem to get kicked off. We also have to have a continuous piece of capping, so no joints, using coils.
