Salary/wages

Anyone know how much lads on the books get nowadays? Am talking fully experienced (30yrs) in all types of flooring midlands based. Thanks for any replies

I think that would depend on lots of different factors.
Van included, fuel, hours worked, weekends, tools included, etc etc
I think it comes down to how much you value yourself, and what someones willing to pay

 

I seen an add for £45k a year cards in, Job in Manchester. Decent money that as inc holidays van etc

 

I presume thats gross ?
Do you know what that nets down too ?

 

cheers. just looking for a figure to kick off negotiations with, like I say it’s 30 odd yrs since I was last employed. It’ll be van, 40hr week, overtime, holidays etc

Yes gross. not sure after tax but about £6500 tax plus ni

I pay one of my lads £18 a hour. He takes home £2600 ish a month.
