Hello, looking to install a sisal runner with latex backing to my freshly painted wooden stairs.

I have come to this method after reading for a few hours:

    - F40 Styccobond on stairs
    - Duralay 650 on treads (should I also do risers?)
    - F3 styccobond
    - Dunelm Sisal Runner with border.

I don't plan to use grippers, but will be using staples to tighten the runner to corners, etc.

Could anyone share a yay or nay for this plan?

    Many thanks

Not using gripper? Sisal on stairs needs gripper. Job for a professional to be honest, although I’m not assuming you’ll make a bad job. Good luck

You want blind gripper. No pins.
