As the vote approaches, what are your thoughts ?
The past two years have been great for me personally, and for stability I should probably vote in, but as I would like to see more control return to us, I will be voting out.

    Out for me
I think it will only get worse if we stay in
We managed quite well before we were in this common market
and we tend to import more than we export so I cant see them not wanting to business with us
    Just my humble opinion

Out! If we were mainland europe I could understand the argument to remain even if I don't agree with it, from my point of view all being part of the eu does is leave the door wide open to mainly unskilled labour entering the country with no controls which indirectly will keep wages down across all trades, this coupled with a proper shake up of the benefits system to force the bone idle back into work would help the country to progress further.

End of the day the Eu needs us more than we need it yet we have next to zero influence there, Australian/Canadian immigration system please, the fact our economy is quite strong and the min wage going up over next 5 years is only going to make it worse.

Bottom line for me is if they want to make mainland Europe one big country good for them but it's not for me, as that's the long term goal with the eu

I'm not racist or nothing like that but I don't like people come here and earn money and then take it all back into there own country .

I have seen people that crack up a lot of debt (cards loans etc) and then leave the debt here and bigger back.

My friends who is from Poland said he has just built a 5 bed house furniture included for £32,000 .
Here you can't buy a horse forgot a house for 32k

I've been through 2 recessions & managed. Its been a struggle but if we stick together we can do it. We need change, I don't see a future for my kids the way things are going. The government just lie & are scaremongering people. I'm out!

Racism isn't even in the debate. Ask someone from Hull, Aberdeen, New Haven or any fishing port what the EU has done for them. Answer: Destroyed their fishing fleets and way of life.
Ask farmers about having to throw milk down the drains when it could have been used in cheese production or similar. Answer: Milk quoters and the EU Common Agricultural Policy(CAP). This policy covers much, much more than milk production which suits the inefficient French & Italian farms.

When we had the Exchange Rate Mechanism (ERM) crisis on Black Wednesday the 16th September 1992 our Chancellor called the Germans for their support. They didn't bother to return his call. Queue forwards a short while. The French had a similar issue, the Germans immediately came to their aid. Make what you will of that.

The in campaign is full of Sh*t and is spreading fear and misinformation about the result of a Brexit, most of of which is based on flawed economic data. The fact is nobody knows what will happen, it's all a bit of a guessing game, but one thing is for sure, we know what we get if we stay in and it isn't good. The EU countries need and want our trade and that will continue.

    I could go on & on & on & on, but I won't.

    I'm OUT

Thought that the female MPs on the leave side last night were excellent in putting their points across, and unlike the remain side put a cross a calm thoughtout argument without resorting to cheap shots or shouting over the opposition.

The more time goes by in these campaigns the more remain seem to get flustered whilst generally speaking the leave camp seem more and more confident and relaxed.

I didn`t watch it, my mind is already made up. I`m a postal voter, so my vote has already been cast.

Still 99% of people I have spoken to say they are voting, and for out. Maybe there is a chance we will be leaving.

You would hope so, as even if you do see it as a leap in the dark that has to be better than staying shackled to a failing project and indirectly (bail outs) to a failing currency

The only thing I think off is the factor of importing carpets from Belgium/netherlands etc. Wonder if anything changes on that side of things for us?

They sell more to us than we sell to them, market forces 101 would be for them to keep tariff free trade between them and us, as they benefit from it more than we do! and the only way to do that is to not put tariffs on us.

That only makes camerons negotiation attempt look as pathetic as it was, he went to get a slice of bread and got a few crumbs and tried spinning it into a positive, the eu need us more than we need it, its playing hardball as it doesnt want to lose face and it will hopefully backfire on them.

I say crank up the press and get those Marks rolled off.
I have heard a lot of talk about, if we leave, it will just be the start.
