Good morning! I have recently moved into a new house, and the whole of the ground floor is tiled - they’re stone-cold; especially this time of the year, and they’re not pretty tiles either. I want to lay some vinyl laminate down over it because I’m extremely reluctant to get them all up: it’s relatively large house and I just know it wouldn’t be an easy job.

My main question is can anybody offer any advice on how best to insulate before I lay anything new down? Also, any other help/guidance is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

All depends what you want to spend really. Covering it all with Jumpax 1st would help

Thank you. Money isn’t necessarily an issue, but at the same time, I’d like it to be relatively cost-effective.

That won’t be then. Look for a rigid click with a good backing then.
