where have you come across this package? is it one of these all in £89 quid deals through a 3rd party?

O and you have to pay for your new card also when you you complete your nvq. That is depending on who you do the NVQ with? how much you paying for your NVQ? it may be built in to the package? Is the card and H+S test package part of the NVQ that a provider has set up for you?

Floortrain are providing the nvq for free matt, they just told me to do my h&s test then i said i need temp card asap so they said just get the red card for now, and i was just scanning the internet and found h&s test, revision package and cscs card for £77. What you think?

:) Good to hear your NVQ is fully funded. Flooring Assessments are fully funded also for future reference. Thought i would check as there is the odd company out there charging for all types!

personally i would book the H+S test direct with cscs for £17.50 i think it is. Purchase a test cd off ebay for around £5-10 quid and then purchase card yourself for i think £35 quid. Total = approx £60 quid all in.

I would do this rather than going through 3rd party companys where errors can occur.

Your Nvq provider will be registering you for your Nvq. This info will be updated to cscs so they will be able to see you have started a Nvq.

You will also need to pass h+s test before you apply for the card.

Make sure you use the same registration number to apply for h+s test as your Nvq registration number

Hi Mark, yes all funding has now finished for on site NVQ's. There is funding for apprenticeships where anyone can attend the training centrespaced out over a 18 month period. You get free training and a NVQ at the end.
If you require just a NVQ you now have to pay for it. Current rates (January 2018) are £950 + vat
