Does anyone use a Fein Supercut ?
Ive always used Fein multimasters, but one has just given up.
Got loads of Amtico to go down next year, so wondered if the Supercut was better ?

Did you buy cordless or corded ?
The cordless one thats given up didn`t seen to have the same bollox as corded.
That might have changed now, I see the new ones are available with 6.0 ah batterys

Is there less vibration with the new ones ?

Yeah I bought the corded as a replacement for a cordless makita. Had a multi master before that and this ones a lot more powerful and less vibrations

I've been using a cordless supercut for about 5years, works just as well as the corded, i always use it on a lower speed, cuts just as well, the battery lasts longer and blades don't seem to burn out as quick

The Roberts jamb saw is good for anything 2.5mm or thicker, i got one a couple of months ago, after someone on here recommended it,it's a lot quicker than the multi tool

You see now this isn't good for me when you lads praise a tool I've not got because it means weekend when the brandy is flowing I might just accidently buy myself one.

I don't use it for anything other than lvt, because it's a pain in the arse to adjust ,i just keep it set with the blade flush to the floor and it takes about 3seconds to undercut an arc

Yes, got the lights on it.
Had a quick play with it to see how fine it can cut design strips and so far so good.
Will hammer it over Xmas with a few boxes of opus grano in parquet for my office

Jamb saw is a lot quicker than the multi tool. If its only a couple then I wouldn't bother but if you've got loads to do on a job then it flies through them.

Used it today, and its a massive improvement over the red. Easily visible over 20m and I like the Dewalt rechargeable battery.
The rangefinders are also excellent. I use mine a fair bit as we can work over some long distances.

They do a long neck jamb saw that looks good. The original one never gets tight enough In the corners I found
