Laid a conservatory today in spacia wide plank traditional oak.
A lot of the planks were slightly bent. I had them up against my straight edge to check, so I used them near the end of the job and had to force them in bit.
Happened a few times before with spacia planks. Not as well made as they used to be.

Had a lot of bad spacia bent, backing sticking out past the wear layer which has to be trimmed off, also ends of planks not cut square I really don't like laying the stuff at the moment

    I know, I agree.
I talked the women into spacia rather then van gogh as well
Wish I hadn't now. Had to run the back of knife on a few ends to get rid of little gaps.

Most of the time it's the ends of the boards I find the corners touch and the middle bows in only by a mill or so but if you get 2 planks the same end on together it looks really bad

i think the bowing is more to do with storage or thats what amtico say, not getting you when you say cool them
