Well it's best to check each manufacturers specification if your using a click system the floor must be very flat and level to ensure the joints...
Hi trish.... Sounds like you have either a floating floor or chipboard which are normally 6 foot by 2 or 8 foot by 2.
I would just highlight that there is no such thing as a scratch resistant floor, they will have coatings on and some are harder than others but...
If the floor is needing a lot of attention then a click together rubber/pvc may be an option we have used them before
As Daz says but ensure the old tiles are down sound from 1950, they are more than likely laid direct to earth with no Dpm if any sort we have come...
Altro Aquarius or similar all depends on budget like the other poster the cheapest option will be grass products, if it is outside rubber/vinyl...
