I prefer the dark brown coir as it hides the crap but hard to convince people.

I use a company called colourways in aldershot. Polo shirts, jumpers and fleece jackets are really good quality
Rather you than me, most hand sanders won't be powerfull enough to remove the finish.
I think most of the manufacturers won't guarantee any products unless you sand that finish off first, then start over. Stain it with the colour...
Was the screed definatly dry?
Yeah much better, two weights the heavier is just below ultra but looks very similar
