Funny, when I did the Amtico course we was told you couldn't lay over magnesite because nothing would stick to it? Not because it would break down...
I'm guessing its bad practise as it could still fail if there is a high moisture content and you cover it with vinyl?
Isolator and sheet vinyl over it? I've fine that before.
What about those loose lay vinyl tiles, some of those can go over damp floors can't they? Or put down a isolator sheet first??
