I remember a job that did that, my mate had it with f76, it never went off in the hallway and they worked out it was water coming in from around...
only problem I find with f76 straight on to the subfloor is, if the screeds a bit ruff it sucks it all up and you need twice as much dpm. I guess...

I heat seam most of the time even when double sticking, Dont know if you need to? I dont think any1 does for border work?

Is hot melt actually that strong? Every time Ive uplifted a job thats had the gripper fixed with that stuff it just falls off or peels off in long...
To be fair the customer might be blind, then yeah they would get away with it. I know what you mean though mate, some of the latexing ive seen...
