    Hi
I’m looking for some impartial recommendations of wool carpets.

I’m comparing 3 brands for use in bedrooms (we have a baby & small dog if this makes a difference!)
    • Elements London tufted loop pile (50% wool 50% pp) £42sqm
    • Westex natural loop cable (100% wool) £45/Sqm
    • Brockway beachcomber (100% wool)
From looking at the samples i preferred the elements ones but am worried about the wool fraying. Our current wool carpet on the stairs looks horrendous and hairy now, perhaps because previous owners had a cat.

What are your thoughts? I can’t find much in the way of reviews of elements. Are the other two considerably better than Brockway? How do they all wear?

    thanks!

Personally wouldn't buy a loop with any clawed animal in the house. But if you do, make sure your vacuum doesn't have a spinning brush or you'll end up with a mohair carpet in no time...

Brockway and Westex are very good. Check out telenzo for loops too
