    That has occurred to me. No need for ply either on reasonable floors.

    Hard floor wood subfloor same difference as long as its flat/smooth these new floating lvts are the future.That is when Headlam get them out there.

    Headlam have a lot of this stuff arriving soon.

    I like the product a lot more after spending a few hours playing with it today. I had time to mess around with it and try different ways of install.

    I believe there are 3 different types of look systems about to flood the market. The one i have been working with is the unilin lock (quickstep) which i think is going to be the best lock system.

    I have found that on a wide tile that its very easy to damage the lock and also cause problems with it unlocking.

    However after a few hours messing around i have found the best way (well i think the best way) to lock it together.

    I think if this hits the DIY market then alot of people are going to get into trouble. I guess this will be good for us fitters? I personaly hope it doesn't get in the DIY market tho.


    P.s the 9" plank i think is one of the best ones so far.
