Update from the fitter when asked what glue he has used: “The glue we have used is Gemini Grabfast Gold which is a heavy duty contact adhesive. The subfloor and the plan is sprayed with it. Just about to throw myself off the top of a tall building over the stark realisation that we (in our defence the builder) have employed real life cowboys and will now have to pull the whole ridiculously expensive floor up after six months of an absolutely torturous building project that we thought we were at the end of and now have every bit of furniture, bar, gym etc etc now in situ.
