Border work on herringbone

    Not the wrong way but a choice of way and the bevelling can still be done, why cant you bevel yours?

    What do you do, lap it on the edge cut it and then bevel on herringbone ?

    Yes that what I do if I have done border 1st.
    That’s not the wrong way.
    If a bigger area I do field 1st and Gilly most of the cuts.

    With parquet blocks I would never put the border in first but full planks I always do border first

    I'm.busy on with a full plank herringbone with border done first and its all bevelled

    Straight edge in the cuts, use either spare piece/plastic to slip underneath slightly whilst I bevel and slot in.... simple....

    Throw the bevel tool.in a skip Xacto is the way

    Xacto spacey....and I have a 'spacey' screwdriver in my collection to.

    Them bevellers are awful, especially when you spend an hr setting it up for your labourer to start messing around with it and messing it up :rolleyes:
