What about naturals seagrass sisal ect... Have you tried Crucial trading or Alternative flooring ? Or maybe bolon for some funky stuff ?
Have had an account with C&F and Headlam and Lgs for past few years,, they are both ****e at getting domestic carpet books for you though !!
Crucial are notoriously hard to get an account from even though its headlem Alternative might be worth a shot !
What about Forbo they do direct accounts & the older consumers love a bit of marmo or flotex & no one else bothers with it or caters for it in the domestic market
I think offering something a bit different can help you stand out from the crowd & in tern create more business with less competition ?
No one else sells it round here but I still do a bit for my older customers now & then. Not the most fashionable product but people buy what the see sometimes Did I mention I've been trained by Forbo
I dont have a problem with flotex as a product , just weather it would sell at a domestic focused showroom , fitted quite a bit of the stuff when I used to be a commercial fitter. Thanks also for the kersaint cobb hint , have just sent them a contact request , cheers lads ,
I've been working away with Tomkinson/Gaskells for the last few years without any hassles. They're not going to replace your main brands but as a go-to carpet it really works for me. I've also been getting a good turn from Cavalier and Adam carpet recently, decent delivery times and no complaints so far
