Hi all, I only have a few weeks to get this subfloor prepped for LVT and I'm a novice DIYer so I'd appreciate any advice! It is concrete, small kitchen of 10m2. When I lifted the old laminate some of the underlay was damp, and there is no DPM installed. It doesn't help that part of the kitchen is below ground level by 50cm or so.

The concrete is level, I was thinking to use a vapour barrier underlay, and paint some liquid DPM on the wall up to the ground level part, and then install the LVT flooring, would this be ok?

Alternatively I could paint the entire floor in liquid DPM, and then lay the underlay on top of that (I guess it wouldn't need to have a vapour barrier then?)

    Thanks for any advice.

You would get away with a Dpm underlay. but I’d be going ardex DPM1c. How many m2 is the room.

Thanks, I've already bought a liquid DPM from Wickes, do you think I can just put underlay on top of that if the floor is level?
