Yeah was thinking about lvt. Will have to ply the stairs because there's more glue on them than a glue factoy has lol
Got asked to fit a wet room, bloke said it's already screeded by my floorlayer! It was shocking all over but the drain topped it off!
Had to go and look at a job today fitted by a carpet firm near to me due to the carpet coming away, here's what i found lol Needless to say i'm now ripping it all up and supplying them with a new carpet!
when I were on the polyflor course about 6 years ago the guy training us on the course said hes been all over the world with polyflor and the best cap and cove fitters he seen came from Poland. Ive seen English workmanship no better.
I dunno what this guy was thinking! A "floorlayer" from mybuilder (who had good reviews apparently) called john armour. I was asked to come and do the join as it wasnt done by "mr armour" he also said there was some pins coming through. So i uplifted it and was horrified Apart from being upside down it was SCREWED down! I thought id seen the worst! Looks like its been pinned to the gripper for what ever reason (i pulled this off gently and didnt disturb how the nail was left by john wayne.... I mean Armour!) Wait theres more! Now for the worst part! He charged around £3:50 psm for this!
