No name and shame him , why don't you post your pictures to his face book page , see if he is as proud of the work he did for you ??
yeah defo name and shame, put pics on facebook page, i would of defo got my money back off the little C*NT
I don't want to get into a war of words on Facebook as can lead to bad things as a friend of mine found out. He won't get any work from me or anyone I know in the north west.
got called in to re-fit 56m2 lami (urgh!!) following leak from wet-ufh system. at uplift stage came across these lil beauties, door lining & arc's OVERCUT to the point i could actually fit another piece (see pic #2) of the 8mm lami into the 'undercut'!!! also easy peasy lining to lining threshold, measure (x2) & cut no notching, cut 6mm short... sorry to say that i discovered this had been installed by a fluff fitter who carpeted most of the house & said he'd do the lami install too...!!! leave it to the big boys eh...
I'm guessing the arch/linings must have been cut to a previous flooring before the 8mm lam, or are some people really that dumb to cut them all shy without checking
indeed nope Vman, this was a new build house, over £250k property... the fluff fitter f00ked it right up, some of the undercuts were just just about passable, one arch even went from tight-to-board to a 5mm gap!!! think they used a door trimmer set to 15mm+ then let the boy scout loose with it... eventual outcome was that they ended up removing the top arch, taking all the lining's screws out them prising the whole door surround & doros DOWN to the floor height!!!! bizarre or what...?
not technically a crap flooring photo. Just over plyed this job today, made sure I wrote a warning a warning were the pipe is as that could easily catch you out. You've just got to love some plumbers.
Another quality karndean fitting. Lazy sods. Do it properly or **** off home. Hate it when they do this.
Looks like its been heated and freehanded . Lazy. If I can , I allways undercut arcs or spend a little time and mark them.
