What demos are they showing you then? Went on one last June and it was a morning of theory regarding moisture check etc then a bit of hands on spreading compounds? Surely this ones a bit more than that then if Floorskills etc are taking a day out to go?
Steve, all FloorSkills staff attend manufacturer courses on a monthly basis or the manufacturers come to us to show us stuff etc. (normally private courses tho so we can ask questions and be shown information they dont normally want others on a course hearing!) Some courses see FloorSkills staff traveling abroad also a few times a year to again keep us up to date with European methods and to see where we can bring their methods into the u.k. So far this year i would say we are at around 20 internal courses with manufacturers! It is the only way we can keep up to date with products and new methods. Even tho we are a training centre, we would be very silly thinking we knew it all and was above attending other company's courses.
Got any Caribbean courses coming up? Can I be a trainer for the day? Speaking to a guy from morrells about their stains and finishes and he seemed pretty keen to come and see you guys Matt.
Pass on my details mate. The more products we have to show the better our training is. After all we are not a manufacturer and i have no gain my end by simply showing one product. Thats what manufacturer courses are for (seeing one brand product only).

Went over different dpms and screeds mainly. Put some down too. Discussed media an what Produts we want to see and how f ball can help us on jobs. Seen the 30 min screed in action an how quick you can lay on it. Also tested F77 an F78. Also exterior screed with granno which would be very handy with the quick drying.
We had an excellent time pal. You missed out on a great crack. I'm knackered though after doing Karndean as well. Good to meet you though pal.
Also got some stopgap 400 repair repair and 500 micro coat. Each person got that and a hydrometer, mixing bucket, measure bucket, Pens etc
