I thought the same as you at first but once you've tried it you won't go back, no gunged up brushes no open tin in a confined space or cramped working area an likely to get kicked over. And the best bit no waiting for it to dry off as it goes of instantly, no need to lay the vinyl out to jam up the cove just throw it in hold it back and spray gun works upside down too.
Most of the showers I do jay, have 2-3 walls to cove up, about 3 mts. Would it be worth getting one for that do you thnk. After 5 or 6 showers the f60 lid is a nightmare to get back on so the glue goes off in the bottom and you bin a quarter of it
Not used it on acces panels but at least with a spray you won't lose loadss down the edge of panels or spend ages rolling onto them individually
Iv just got there gold contact from your recommendation its even cheaper than the jm800 ordered it yesterday and got it today, they even do there own cap and coveing strips. Steve
i brought the gold for 147 and got gun and hose for 50 quid bargaing i thought and very good spray adhesive use it for alot of things and if you work the price out for a cannister which covers roughly 250 sqm to how many tubs of f60 it works out cheaper and also quicker
I got sent a couple tins of some low oduer contact spray to sample. It said you only needed to spray one surface, I tried it on some vinyl capping and that went off solid. Only trouble was I got some on the outside of the capping and have to make a return visit now with stripper to get it off! They sent me a price list and it's about a tenner a can which probably do 2 bathrooms.
that cant be right me and my mate have recently stuck around 100 m coving and 80 m sit ons and theres loads left in the cannister also when i worked out how far 1kg goes and theres 17kg in a cannister it worked out to be 250 which i thought was good
