looking for some advice on best way to fill gaps in some solid oak parquet.

I'll be using Blanchon resin filler to fill most of the gaps. But should I be glueing some slithers of wood in the larger gaps? estimate that the biggest are 4mm wide.

    thanks in advance.

Before you fill it you need to be sure that it isn't simly a seasonal movement that will close up in the winter. If it is it will need the space to expand back into.

i was thinking that gaps would be smallest in the summer? at least that's based off what I learnt at school that things expand in heat!!
But let me know if this isn't the case, and central heating in winter makes the oak expand more than the summer heat

Its only just been laid (i.e. in pretty hot conditions) if that's important.

If it's just been fitted did you fit it with gaps? Probably not, so the gaps will have occurred during the summer. Did you take moisture readings and what is the change from installation to current moisture levels.
Heat doesn't cause the expansion or contraction of wood, moisture does.
