So I normally use fball 700 Pros - it's great , decent working time decent finish Cons - expensive I've used tilemaster level flex in the past Pros - it's cheap Cons - watery , lumpy , takes too long for foot traffic , finish is rough not smooth - I don't like it lol Level it flex - Pros - it's cheap , ultra smooth finish , Cons - sets too fast for lager areas
Can you guys add to this ? What else preferably cheaper than 700 is good ? I've got a large underfloor heating job coming up that I priced for level flex but kind of wish I had just priced for fball , so I'm looking for alternatives , I know tile master do other screeds for over plywood but a rep still said that level flex would be the first recommendation :-/ Thanks
Dont get water based compounds going over ply ? Compression strength is to high they all crack Youd be better off using NA or 1200 Tile master Super 30 is the only latex based fibre reinforced I know of and has never cracked when ive used it
Hi spacey the rapid drying of the super 30 puts me off trying it , The level it flex was a latex mix too mate
Good gear that level it flex. How the drying on it these days. Not used it in years Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
10 mins working time - ok for hallways etc but large rooms would set far too quick , I walked on this stuff after 20 mins lol
Just bringing this back up. What’s everyone using? Don’t like renovation screed. Haven’t tried the ultra gear yet. Tilemaster still good? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Reno just so inconsistent I find. How you find the Ardex Daz? Not hearing great things about it? I prefer using bag and bottle. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
