Tried flexifix but only use it for wood now. Prefer A17

I use hot melt glue sticks and never had any problems. Use quality glue like Loctite but only in single rooms.
I prime the subfloor first with a spray adhesive and thats it.

When using it on few rooms or more at same time I use the FBall stuff.

MMmmm flexy fix ;) If in doubt get it out!! Although tempted to get the spotnails/maestri masonary nailer, had a play today at the show. Admittedly not for every application but I know I could've used it a few times recently.

I'm with most people here, hot melt is no good, DIY product IMO. The hedlam one super fastgrip i think it's called. We prime with spray adhesive first, never get any problems.

What type of hot melt have people on here used, To say it is that bad. Does anyone use the 43mm slugs? I find them just as good as any PU Adhesive Can even power stretch on it without any issue at all.

I use the slugs occasionally when needs must, and provided the floor is thoroughly primed, and the floor concrete mix isn't too sandy, it's fine.
I've been to loads of jobs where, on uplifting the old carpet, the gripper has long popped off of gripfill, fastfix etc, always due to little or no priming.

I use loctite glue sticks and like I say no problems here.
