grippern concrete floors

    could you not jus make sure the floors smooth as possible, feather finish over the tiles, light sand over till its pracitcally smooth and glue the gripper? take the cowboys routes, dont bother with the hassle of lifting :thumbs

    UZIN do a feather finish that you can skim over glass!,that should do the trick and (look,no primer).

    Dont forget that what ever primer/screed etc you stick to the top will only be as strong as the adhesive holding the product down your sticking to.

    As long as your not disturbing the thermoplastics there is no health issue. However i dont know if your allowed to install ontop without removing them. I think you can as long as you dont disturb!

    So if this is the case then i would personally go for a twin stick system rather than stretch fit.

    I use hot melt alot but it aint the strongest fix, been told if you use the proper hot melt primer adhesive it holds the gripper to the floor solid, anyone use it or know where it can be bought from?

    could'nt agree more, only thing i would add is to put gripper slightly further back from skirting. seems that when you tuck the carpet the levering action knocks it loose. :shock: :? :cry: :evil: :idea: SPRAY!
